Research Interests

Since 2002 I am working in the area of security in sensor networks and pervasive computing systems. I'm especially interested in achieving security on devices with highly constrained ressources.
In addition, I am researching global peer-to-peer network systems, especially in combination with security requirements. Application fields for peer-to-peer systems with a high security requirement are e.g. distributed simulation systems or massively multiplayer online games. I focus on research in the areas of decentralized authentication, accounting & billing, as well as anti-cheating in peer-to-peer systems.
