VS visits JAIST

Malte Josten visited the Cybersecurity Research Lab of Prof. Razvan Beuran at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) in Japan from December 5 to 12, 2025.
The research focuses of the Cybersecurity Research Lab can be summarized under Society 5.0: (1) Cybersecurity, (2) IoT/CPS Security, (3) Trustworthiness Assurance, and (4) Education and Training.

During the visit, there was a lively exchange about respective research focuses and potential cooperation opportunities. Additionally, collaborative work began with Thanh Nguyen on a benchmarking tool to determine the robustness of Large Language Models against prompt attacks that use non-natural language obfuscation techniques.
